I love seeing your sparkly bright eyes and holding your patootie, but can we please try to concentrate it to *daylight* hours?? You are just not helping my quest for more than 1.5 hours of sleep at a time.
No kidding! Billie went to sleep at 9:40 last night....he slept until 1:30. Then he was up until 3:45!!! I finally got back to sleep, then he woke up again at 4:45. Luckily after that he was content to nurse and cosleep until ds got up at 6:15.
This is killing me and dp!!!
Does anyone have any advice on how to quell the long periods of awake time in the middle of the night??? How long is this going to last? I don't remember from ds, all I know is that he slept 2 hr stretches all night long at 6 weeks.
I don't know... my boys would sleep their sleep at night - sometimes they would have shorter stretches (so like 1.5 hours), but they did a pretty good job and I don't remember them being wide awake in the middle of the night like Jade is. She's really throwing me for a loop.
Not to mention that after one longer stretch of sleep she's content to only sleep an hour to maybe an hour and a half stretches the rest of the night. I get up a LOT LOT LOT at night with her - to nurse her. I mean jeez louise... I'm nursing her more at night than I am during the daytime I think! Ugh...
I like co-sleeping if that meant she and I would sleep any... but at this rate it's not happening. I'm... well, I'm exhausted. Truly.
Send my DD the memo. We were up for two hours last night. But she also won't let me put her down AT ALL. So it is us up, me holding her, until she gets sleepy again.
