Hi, I'm new here, obviously. A little about myself. I am a 28 year old mom with a 15 month old son, Michael, who has several medical conditions and was in the hospital for 6 months. I am also currently pregnant with our next baby due in January. I had a miscarriage right before becoming pregnant with this baby whom we call Kayin. My dh is 30 years old, Mick. We both appear to naturally AP which is a great relief as we tend to agree a lot on how to parent. We did end up with an "emergency" c-section that was an awful experience and we are hoping to VBAC this next baby. We have just moved into the Aurora, IL area from Chicago and are looking to get away from UIC hospital doctors and into more AP friendly, non-immunization friendly doctors as we have to fight every month to not vaccinate. My poor dh was tricked into giving several vaccinations already. I work full-time so am not always available to be at the doctor's appointments to help support our decisions. Ds has many allergies but the docs don' t seem to care and push for the vaccines anyway. Oh, and we did not circ either. Anyways, I didn't know what to put in here so I hope this was alright. I'm looking forward to talking with others with similiar beliefs as ours.
