Question about bulging bag of waters

Ok, so I am sorta referring to the other post on here about her midwife talking about her waters bulging. I just had to go and check to see what was going on with me.

I've gone from 2cms dialated to 5 and I can feel the bag of waters bubbling out into the cervix but not going past the cervix.

I'm assuming that a "bulging bag of waters" is when it comes out past your cervix, right? Or is it what I'm feeling?

I think any bulge is a bulge, but IDK. Perhaps it does need to extrude past the cervix. When I have been told my waters are bulging, they are usually almost outside my vagina. Sounds like yours might pop!

: For some reason, I am terrified of my water breaking before contractions/pushing. I'm scared that the contractions will hurt worse. I can't imagine going an entire labor with super uber painful contractions!! I had it super easy w/ds even though my labor was 12 hours.
