How have each of your births differed? With my DD, I had a 25 hour labor with 2 hours of pushing. With my DS, I had a 5 hour labor with only 5 pushes and he was here! (Boy I hope this LO's labor is the same! LOL)

How did you decide on this new baby's name? I am not sure where the Ashley came from. It's just a name that DH and I liked. It would have been DS's name had he been a girl. Her middle name, May, was my grandmother's middle name and my great grandmother's middle name. (And I look EXACTLY like my great grandmother...)

What is your favorite area of mdc and why? The July DDC! : LOL I think the why is obvious! Ha ha But I enjoy browsing through it all when I get a chance!

What are your go-to snacks these days? Depends on what's in my kitchen at any given moment! (With this bedrest, it's been interesting with DH doing the shopping! ) But mostly cheese! YUMMY! I can't seem to get enough! And, cliche though it might be, I like dill pickles, too! (And if I can find a Snickers or some Oreos or some cookies and cream ice cream, those are SO not safe in this house! Ha ha ha)

Do you like winter cold or summer heat better? Well, being in Arizona (which today our high is 108 with 46% humidity! EW!), I am SO not a fan of summer! LOL We don't really get "cold" winters, but I FOR SURE prefer winter here than summer! Ha ha ha (Fall is my favorite season...)

What are you looking forward to the most with baby? Hmmm..... Tough one! The baby noises, that "new baby smell", and just being able to cuddle with her!

What is the worst part about being on bed rest? Not being able to do things with my kids!!! (and also how gross tile floors can get in just a short time of no sweeping and mopping! LOL)

What is your favorite thing about MDC? What bugs the hell out of you about it? Hmmmmmmmm....... Really not sure! LOL I think my favorite is the closeness I feel to my fellow DDC-ers. And I think the thing that bugs the hell out of me would have to be how judgemental some of the crunchy mommas can be. (Like when I had my DS I had an epidural and I got blasted by this one member because of it! Bugged me because she was NOT there in my shoes and she was not the one who was having such bad back contractions that I literally was not breathing while having them and I had to have an oxygen mask and all! If I had NOT had the epi, I prolly would have been completely knocked out for a c-section!)

What things do you enjoy doing with DCs? My DD and I LOVE to do craft projects of all types. (DS likes to "do" them with us, but for the most part, we wait til he's napping! Just easier! LOL) My DS and I like to play with his legos and cars. And with the two of them together, we love to go to the zoo and pile up in bed together and snuggle with a big bowl of popcorn and watch a movie!

do you have a "singnature meal" you cook? Hmmm... Prolly not "signature" but my DH really likes it when I cook my garlic chicken and rice. I take chicken breasts and cok them in butter and TONS of garlic in a skillet then serve it with rice.

what's your favorite meal? Oh GOSH! That's a tough one! I really like food! Um, I guess I'd have to say just about anything pasta-wise from Olive Garden, along with their salad!

are you eating right now, and if so, can i have some? I'm not eating right now - tummy is just WAY too quaesy (HOPING it's a nice labor sign????? ) but I was thinking that a cheese omlet sounds DIVINE! (Now if I could just get someone else to make it for me, I'd be all set!

Do you have any pets? Yep! We have a golden retreiver named Teddy Bear and 2 red ear slider turtles named Speedy (Calvin's) and Crush (Katelyn's).

Any splurges for this new little one? Sadly, no. Finances don't allow for splurges. She's mostly in hand-me downs from her sister, a friend, and freecycle. I did buy her a preemie outfit for the hospital bag just in case she DOES come early and a new breastpump - seeing as my other one is still packed up somewhere and I coudln't find it!

2. Will my baby be born this weekend? My sources say no. (WAAAA!)
