Due date Calculators

The ones I use are http://mothersnaturally.org/naturalP...bmit=Calculate

According to LMP & Naegle's (the one they use at most doctor's & midwives) ds2 was only a week early. According to the transitons one, he was closer to 3 weeks early. Given how little he was, how much vernix he had & other little signs, the Transitions Doula one (using Mittendorf-Williams) was more accurate. Naegle's rule would make me due around Feb 26 this time, but Mittendorf-Williams puts me at March 1, so that's the date I'm going with.

The thing with most Due Date Calculators - is they assume you have an average 28 day cycle and base your due date on that and the info you are allowed to put in.

At least the second due date calculator lets you put in your cycle length...But that is not always as accurate as well. What about LP - DPO. Again, most calculators are assuming the average 14 day LP/DPO. If that is not yours, then its going to be off by another few days as well.

I think this is the most accurate DDC I have seen so far as you can put in all that info! (if you know it!)

Not that it made much difference with my DS...according to MW (going by first day of last period based on 28 day cycle) DS was due the 16th - so arrived 3 days late. I didnt know it then, but I know now I had a 30 day cycle - not 28...so he was actually 2 days early. But then I didnt know my LP then (and cant possibly figure that out now) so that could have given or taken another few days as well!

My cycle currently is 35 days - LP 11 days. So most DDC are just way off - by nearly a month! lol ...except for the link ive just posted above!

I just tried that one. Leaving all the info the same except the known dates, I calculated from LMP & from known conception. Known conception gives me Feb 27, LMP gives me March 4. I think I'm sticking with March 1.

Wow, I'm getting all sorts of dates! One told me February 19th!?

Here's my info:

My LMP was May 29. I ovulated on June 9. My cycles are usually 27 days and I have a 13 day LP, but I ovulated two days earlier than usual this last month.

I got Feb 19 on one calculator based on LMP (and cycle length and such) and I have no idea how that is possible, another gave me March 10 based on ovulation (I guess because this is my first), and the last gave me March 5 based only on LMP. I'm sticking with March 2 based strictly on ovulation, and knowing that it'll likely be later than that.

As it's your first, I would go with the latest date you get and try to get your care provider to use it, too. It will give you that little bit more wriggle room at the end if you need it.

I keep getting different dates also. One I went on was trying to say I was 6 weeks along....tried to say I conceived it 2 weeks before my last period....

I have been given the following edds: March 3rd, March 4th, March 5th, and March 7th~ I would love for it to come on the 7th, because my dd was born on march 8th and ds was born on the ninth!

I get lots of different dates too.

Everything from Feb28 to March 5th...

I like March 3rd. 3/3/9

Hmm, the justmommies one gave me March 13th (which is what I come up with based on O) and I'm 4w 2d...the Transitions Doula Service gave me March 16th and said I'm 4w 2d how does that work? Oh well, since I know I ovulated on June 20th I'm sticking with 3/13 (plus-it's Friday the 13 ) I just have to adjust my LMP to give me an EDD of 3/13 since I O'd on cd 19.

The Transitions one uses the Mittendorf-Williams formula, which was created from modern studies which show the length of pregnancy is actually a bit longer than was believed. Most other calculators use Naegle's method, which was created by one doctor over a hundred years ago based on fewer than 30 women. You'd still be the same amount of time into your pregnancy, but because the studies show pregnancy last longer than previously believed, your due date is later.

To figure my "LMP" I took my O date and counted back 14 days. I didn't O until CD 21, so if I go by my "real" LMP, it's a week off. When I get in to the Dr, I think I'm going to just count back 10 days so I get a later EDD (the later edd the better--less pressure to induce).

From the three calculators (going by my O date) I got March 10th and March 13th.

Apparently I am due March 13th according this the transitions one and 5w 1 day along...hmmmm....

I can't figure it out exactly. Sometime toward the end of february so I'm just saying March 1st so people don't start calling me too early to ask "have you had the baby yet????" I have an ultrasound tomorrow and my dr is going to give me a due date after that.

I'm saying March 1st, but it'll probably actually be earlier. Not going to count on it even though I'd really like an Aquarius baby. Dh is Pisces, so it'd be nice to have everyone with different signs. One of the due dates I got was actually dh's birthday.

I love this one cause it allows you to put in your ovulation day and it spells out all the different due dates if you are expecting multiples. It also tells you when to expect certain milestones.
