I had my baby!

Zoe Kate was born July 1st at 9:59pm. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
What started as the homebirth we had planned ended in a hospital transfer. I'm utterly exhausted and will share the details of her birth another day.
We are both doing well and recovering beautifully, minus the half a dozen uncontrollable crying jags I've had just today (day 2).
She is incredibly beautiful.

I'm glad to hear you're recovering well. I hope you don't feel bad about the crying, it's part of healing to release some of that emotion and I hope it makes you feel better. Take care and enjoy yourself!

yay for you, mama. there's nothing like a good bout of crying jags to release emotion! good job! can't wait to see that baby, and hear your story too, that will probably help you get through things, when you're up for telling it.
