Boy Girl Twins?

ok, call me a party-pooper, but I don't get it. Why would I want to match my b/g twins??

I will admit, we did our best to put them in red-white-and-blue today. Maggie had to wear one of Sam's onesies, since she really doesn't have anything in that color scheme. Pretty much all of their clothes are gifts or hand-me-downs, so we go with what we've got. Unfortunately dh was peeved because his daughter ended up in a hysterical Chicago Cubs onesie. He's a Brewers fan.

I do enjoy dressing them in the cutest of the clothes, but most days it's onesies and diapers, especially now that it's warmer. Am I missing out on something here?

My good friend has B/G twins and she very rarely matches them. But sometimes, it's fun. Her son is about 4" taller than her daughter right now (at 2.5) and no one ever realizes they are twins. I think once in a while people want to play up their twin-ness, and see nothing wrong with that.

But what do I know? I have MZ girls and a serious coordinating-but-not-matching fetish.

I sent it to my GF who is PG with B/G twins

I like co ordinating *all* my children on occasion. lol. but they love to wear same/ similar stuff and the boys use it to try and trick me sometimes

It sucks that they come in the same sizes though. Ben is always heavier/taller than Claire so I doubt next summer that they will be the same size. It says I can contact and she MIGHT be able to help.

I like to coordinate my twins. :

I do this cheesy stuff, too!!!

Ex: Went to a birthday party for my GFs twin girls. Adam and Thomas had on matching outfits. Rachel had on an outfit that coordinated (same colors) ..... and I had on a red shirt as well.

Yup .... I'm a geek, but the kids looked so darn cute!!!!

I loved coordinating my b/g twins' outfits! I never bought special outfits, but I would just buy the same thing, only one in pink and one in blue. I also bought a lot of earthy/neutral colors so they could share clothes, with the exception of my baby girl wearing pink shoes or pink pants. I don't really do it anymore but it was super fun for awhile. I also like to match my two boys on occasion, even though they are 2.5 years apart. Here are some of my favorites:

Born at home

Striped jammies

Tie dye jammies

I'm expecting 2 girls and a boy and we have some matching and coordinating boy/girl things. I would never make them dress alike when they're old enough to choose their clothes, but I think my babies will be pretty cute in their outfits. We have found things in regular stores, though - I haven't gone to any specific places just for matchy things.

for the OP .... your kiddos are too cute!!

Gymboree usually has boy/girl lines that co-ordinate....

not that I've looked

Lol, I totally do that with my kids too! In fact, I just went to Gymbo last week and got my ds swim trunks and matching ones for his unborn bro. I like coordinating his sisters sometimes too, but not often just cause its too much work, lol.

I have actually seen some of the Gymboree lines with coordinating boy/girl stuff and couldnt help thinking how cute that'd be on B/G twins. Of course, with twins, I probably couldnt afford ANY Gymbo!! But like the new baby line with monkeys...so cute!! I'm totally getting the blue and neutral stuff for my bubba! I plan on becoming a foster parent in the future so it'll get good use...right? Thats just what I will keep telling myself...

The Children's place is where we go for matching outfits, for family pictures and things......they are reasonably priced......Most of my matching outfits I got there on sale for $7-15......very cute.
