That was nice to say. Especially since some of us have been risked out of homebirth TWICE for very good, although frustrating reasons, and have come to understand that for US, the hospital is a nice place to birth anyhow. Personally mine is like a 4 star hotel. There are entirely too many mamas who would like us all to birth THEIR
way, because their way is the BEST WAY EVER!
Whether your choice is UC, homebirth, MW assisted, or OB in the hospital. It SHOULD be all about informed choice, not my birth is more hard core than your birth. Or worse yet, your way is wrong and will KILL you and your baby. I just hate when anybody dumps that on a pg mama because they don't understand her choice.
BTW, around here IRL, I am in the minority for hospital birthing. Most of my friends have had or attempted homebirths in the past 4 years. I think only the c/s mamas are still opting to start at the hospital these days.
