SKIN SO SOFT Bug Guard Plus IR3535?

i used this bug repellent at a friend's house and she claimed it was plant-based and DEET-free. i looked it up online and it is a chemical, but i cant find out much more about it. the websites that say it is safe also say that DEET is safe, so i dont really trust that. the labeling says it is hypoallergenic, so thats hopeful. does anyone know about this stuff? here is the link:

It got a 5 out of 10 hazard rating on the Safe Cosmetics Database. The link to the product information is here. A better choice would be the Buzz Away Insect Repellant, Brittanie's Thyme Organic Insect Repellent, or HeavenScent Naturals Natural Insect Repellent Spritz.
