Yep I've just started a hat/sweater/booties set. I'm using the baby hat from the stitch n bitch book, this sweater: http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/babycardi.html, and these booties: http://www.curlypurly.com/patterns/booties.html. I have the hat done and the sweater about halfway done. I love knitting tiny things so much I couldn't wait too long to start!

I haven't started yet, but I am working on a list of things that I found on ravelry that I plan to start around the end of the month when I finish up my swap stuff.

I knitted a big afghan for ds1. I have yet to make one for ds2. I don't think this baby will get one either. My mom will probably make a quilt the way she did for each of the boys, though.

While I was going through IVF, I taught myself how to Crochett. I'm still not very good at it, but I managed to make a really cute baby blanket! I'm so proud of it!

I don't knit. I just can't get into it.

I can sew, though, so I may try my hand at making some nightgowns, caps, or booties for baby.

My MIL sews quilts, so it is inevitable that she will make one for our LO.

I have to finish a soaker for a friend and then I'll start on some GN woolies for this baby.

I'm excited to start doing some knitting for domerbaby... haven't started yet, though

I have this really cute book called "Baby Knits Two" by Vogue Knitting, and it's got some really cute projects in it. It was a gift from a friend during my first pregnancy. Unfortunately, I don't knit, I crochet. I haven't started tot hink about crocheting anything for this babe, though that star afghan looks really cool!

I will knit the baby a Christmas stocking, but not until after we know the gender. I have knit all of one pattern for the boys/dh and all of another pattern for the dd/myself. I may knit a pair of longies with a matching sweater, too. I just don't have the time to knit like I used to.

I changed the title to crafting. crafting is a better word then knitting I think.

Well, in that case! I pulled out DS1's first year photo album so I can finish that before DC2 comes along!!!

I made a mobile for my daughter, and a very beginning level blankie . I will do at least that for #2, and I LOVE the Christmas Stocking idea! I may have to figure a way to do that with my limited crafting skills.

I had a m/c in May and decided to start an outfit that would be gender neutral. I have started a little knited jacket and pants. I need to make some more nb diapers. Anyone have a favorite patern? I like fitteds with covers.

I'm actually kinda scared at the volume of hand made things this baby will probably end up with I've been waiting so long I have so many ideas!

this is how I announced to my friends and family

I already have a top down raglan sweater on the needles in fingering weight hand dyed yarn. I have about 12 pockets cut out just need snapped and sewn. Its pretty much guarenteed that all the babes clothes will be sewn by me I love sewing and knitting especially for tiny tiny babies

I still feel funny about knitting anything for the bub yet as the pg. is so new still. I will knit some GN shorts and capris using the picky pants pattern from little turtle knits.

I'll also knit a sweater, I'm sure. Knitty.com has some really cute patterns.

When DS was born I knitted him a little striped raglan cardigan in green and blue, and a matching one for my DD in pink and purple.

I will knit sweaters for the kids and the babe, I think. I picked out a nice aran pattern that I can work in all three sizes- which is hard to find since my kids will be 4 1/2 and 8 1/2 when this newborn comes along! I've already scouted out the yarn that I want too, but haven't purchased it.

I will probably give the sweaters to the kids at the holidays. I always make them a present instead of buy them one. I don't think I can get three aran sweaters done, plus something else for christmas presents by the end of February.

I would like to knit some soakers too, and a couple hats and booties. These are good projects for stash and scraps.

I have been looking at fabrics, have resisted starting my carrier stash already. But after hubby gets paid next month I'm raiding the fabric store!

I'll be knitting this kit for sure. I'll have to wait until the fall to get started tho because it's way to hot to knit with wool right now.

I'll probably make another pair of booties and I'll be knitting something for myself too. Maybe the Mommy Snug.
