Where is the best place to order child sized: mop, broom-dust pan, bucket, water pitcher, etc?

I looked through a montessori catalog and was impressed but was hoping to keep costs down.

any thoughts? The ones I have seen, do not look sturdy.

You might try the Dollar Tree. The montessori items are beautiful and will withstand much abuse, but for one child I'd go and look to see what you have locally, first.

We have this set from www.magiccabin.com

and this broom from www.atoygarden.com

I have two children that play with them and they are holding up really well.

Actually, I found a little broom, a dust pan w/ broom, and small buckets at Target. Not in the toy section. In the cleaning section. It was technically labeled as being "Perfect for college dorms" and I thought how pergect for my kids. It's about the time of year that they put out stuff for college students so you my want to check.

We weren't thrilled with the quality of the toy mops and brooms we could find for a reasonable price, so we bought regular ones, and cut the handles down.

We could only find ones with metal handles, but the plugs at the ends pop off, and you can put them back on after you've shortened the handles.

HTH!
