left-over homebirth supplies

Thread Starter
Since I didn't get to have the homebirth that I planned for, I have a bunch of supplies left over that I don't know what to do with. It seems a waste just to toss out perfectly good stuff.
I have a bunch of those OB pads that you lay on, plus those cotton panties that you toss after using, and a bag filled with unopened medical supplies, like a cord clamp, and some other sterile stuff.
Is there a place to donate that stuff to? Or even sell it to? We paid a bunch for this homebirth kit, after all.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Well, I think I'd probably go down to Sept or October DDC's and offer it up to them. Set a price in your head for what you'd like. They're probably getting ready to buy their birth supplies.

Maybe go to your tribe on the tribes forum and offer it, see if anyone there can use it. Then you'd meet another babymama and put that kit to good use.

Ooh, that's a good idea, too!

You could also go post in the Unassisted Birth Forum & the Homebirth Forum.
