Hey ladies, just got off the phone with Nicole, she gave the okay to share the news!!

We have a baby girl! ::

I'll let her fill in the blanks, but her labor started on Wednesday, and finally this morning Ellie and her agreed to transfer to St. V's. She was just not progressing, and hellloooo...36 hours of active labor....she was extremely exhausted.

So this morning, Sophie was born via c section weighing in at a whopping 10 pounds, 21 inches.

She had the cord wrapped twice around her neck, around each arm, and her waist!!!! That little gal was stuck in there good!

I'm sure she'll be back on once she gets home, probably early this week. Until then I'm sure she's going to be trying to get as much rest as possible.

Love you Nicole!!!!::::

Yaay!!! : Congratulations, Nicole!!!! Welcome Earthside, Sophie!!!

I've never created or maintained a thread before, and can't figure out how to get in to make the changes in the title. Can someone tell me where to go? Sara gave me her password, but I don't know how to actually get in. Can someone PM me?

As someone who watched Nicole labor for hours yesterday.. let me be the first to tell you that she was nothing short of a birthing goddess. I have never felt more love and pride for her while watching her work through this labor. She is amazing. I can't wait to meet this little girl that showed her mama a new side of her power.

I love you Nicole. you are amazing.

Congratulations Nicole! Welcome little girl

I hope recovery is fast and easy for you. Arnica, arnica, and more arnica!!!

You worked so hard to bring her through! It can be so bitter sweet during the postpartum processing, however, it feels less painful as times passes. I promise. Just keep remembering your strength and courage. Taking the leap to try for a VBAC is amazing and shows your strength as a wonderful mama and powerful birthing woman.

Indy was wrapped almost the exact same way in his umbilical cord and his birthday is today also. Those tricky babies always wanting it their way
