Asian...YEAH for not leaking fluid! Stay sticky little bean!!! My fingers are crossed that next week you're posting that you can't believe you made it to 31 weeks!!!

How exciting for first appointments. My next appointment is 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks and then after that we go to every 2. I appointments with my midwives. I love sitting on their comfy couch and drinking tea and talking about me and this babe for an hour. *sigh* I wish I could go right now!

MrsSoup...can't wait to hear if you have one or two in there!!

~Sandra :

P.S. 32 weeks today for me!!

Congrats (and I totally understand the sadness) on the ONE bean! And I apologize in advance that you have to go to tuality. I live pretty close to it, but I still go all the way out to Emanuel.

oh jeepers i hate St Vincents. i know some people just love them. but to me, its hell. i would go to emanuel or ohsu if i had to go to the hospital unless it was a DIRE emergency (arm chopped off, etc)
and i wont ever take my kids ot a peds er except Emanuel

Yeah, so far we haven't had any problems with Tuality, everyone has been super nice and helpful....been there far too often with the rest of my family.

What are your problems with Tuality?

i dont have experience in their maternity ward- but they botched a diagnosis on a family member and he died. they are extremely slow in getting doctors to see patients(my dad almost died of a rupture gall bladder three years ago because the staff wouldnt get a doc in asap) they dropped my mother off a gernie.(mom is no light weight(145ish) but she shouldnt be dropped being transfered to a room to imagining area.-she suffered a fracture in her hip while at the hospital. )

My maternity ward experience at tuality is just c/s and c/s. First one was a failed induction, second one, I wasn't given a choice to VBAC. And the "after c/s" rooms are SO small. Its almost like if you have a c/s (or are made to have one), you don't deserve the big comfy rooms.
Most of the maternity nurses are alright, but one of them took my baby away for some "tests" and said she'd bring him back in half an hour. almost 2 hours later I had to walk to the nursery to get him myself!!!
