This month is my first month of Menopur injections with IUI. My doctor put me on progesterone suppositories at day 21 of my cycle even though I had an excellent result on my progesterone blood test just to make sure that if I had a luetal phase defect it would not affect the outcome. Does anyone know how long I'm suppose to take these. Something in the back of my mind tells me 7 days and then do a home pg test 2 days later, but I really don't remember.

I just did an IVF cycle, and I'm supposed to stay on them until I reach the 12th week of my pregnancy. I too have no progesterone issues, its just common practice with IVF, you know just to cover all bases, "just in case"
I would NOT go off of them until your doc specifically TELLS YOU TOO. If you do have a progesterone problem that you dont know about it could cause you to m/c. I know they are messy and REALLY SUCK, but after all you have been through to get pg, whats a few more weeks of panty-liners HAHA.
Good Luck, I hope everything works out for you!

I have a pro. deficiency and take them until I get a neg. blood test at 14 dpo. I need that confirmation though because it takes me like 4 more days to get AF after going off them for some reason. I'd ask for a blood test so you won't be second guessing yourself with the hpt. GL!
