learning Spanish?

Does anyone have a very young child that wanted to learn Spanish. My DD is 6 and wants to learn Spanish. She loves counting in Spanish and knows a few words (thanks Dora and Diego) from watching various shows on Noggin.

Does anyone know if there is some type of software or free internet site out there that teaches Spanish to children her age in a fun way?

We tried a bunch of different things with DD (almost age 6), but almost everything we found presented too much at once. DD couldn't get a foothold. Hooked on Spanish finally worked well with her. We found it at a discount store. It presents a little bit of information at a time, and it includes activities that are fun but not overwhelming. We learned enough through that to let us use our other resources more effectively.

You might want to check into your local community colleges. Here, they offer Spanish classes for homeschooled kids.
