I am very leary of all of the plastic toys we have. I got nearly all of them at yard sales and I rather that I never got them. How can I replace our toy box? Spam welcome!

I've been using this site for crochetted toy ideas: http://craftycarolinagirl.typepad.co...het_toy_chest/

So far I have made the baby grab ball I posted recently, a big lipped fish (I added a rattle to the inside (beans inside a little plastic thing I had)) & this evening I made a smiling faced little sun creature (out of purple so it doesn't look like a sun - lol).

I'm curious to see other people's ideas too!

I don't sell anything, but I was going to make some with a pattern I ran across the other day. http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/freeKn...abyRattles.asp

Looks like a cool toy.

I just ordered a loom since I've never knitted before, maybe there are some patterns out there?

The knit vegetables are adorable. I've been looking ahead (a couple years - lol) & thinking I'm gonna ask my mom to make our son a kitchen like the one she made me & I would stock it up with stuff like this!!!
