Good family doctors in Racine WI area?

Hi all,

I'm just about to move to Racine from England with my husband and two little 'uns, aged 3 and 2. I'd like to register with a family doctor who truly respects the autonomy of the people he-she works with (deliberately avoiding saying 'patients' here!). Someone with a respect for nature and the way the human body works if we don't mess with it too much. Someone who supports home birth.

Too much to ask? I know if anyone knows, it will be you wonderful women! Thanks.

Hopefully,
Laura

My dd goes to Dr. Mark Kamsler. He's a pediatriction, a homeopath, and an anthroposophic doctor. He actually, from my understanding, is only excepting new patients who are home birth, birth center births. He's in Delefield, in Waukesha county, which is kind of a long drive. I think he's well worth the drive, though, if he'll accept your kids as patients. He's also accepting of no vax, if that's an issue for you. My dd is no vax and they haven't said anything to me about it. Another thing I really like about him is that if you call the office with a question or concern, he calls you back to talk about it, instead of you talking to one of his nurses. Hope this helps.

I tried to get into Dr Kamsler's practice last month. He has a waiting list since 2004.
