I am fuming mad. In the past 6-9 months of Dr'ing with my infertility specialist I have had 2 surgeries, countless visits, and the usual work up. Whatever insurance did not cover we have been making monthly payments on, keep in mind this is not a specialty clinic it is our regular family clinic who has one specialist. Well we took 4 months off to try things on our own and I tried calling to get an appt and see about scheduling an IUI. I was just informed that your account balance must be $0 to schedule an appt. Meaning they have to be paid in full and will not accept monthly payments. So I hypothetically asked what if DD had an ear infection and needed an appt? And the lady told me because we still have money due on our account they would not schedule an appointment for DD. No luckily no one is sick but I wont be able to get an appt for months!

WHAT?!?! That is crazy!! Have you tried calling back and talking to someone else? I'm sorry I hope things end up working out for you very soon.
