I have a UTI and it is 2 days before my EDD, is this some kind of sick joke?

Arg! Is it full blown or just beginning? Are you comfortable doing natural measures, or is it beyond that? If you do need antibiotics, make SURE that you're taking acidoph/bifidoph and really hitting probiotics hard for the next couple weeks. Abx can set up for thrush and that's just such a nasty way to begin the newborn phase.
