God...and that's it. LOL

I look like I should pop out twins any day now, but no such luck I am afraid! (see belly pic in belly pic thread for reference )

I'll trot off to the belly pic thread just to see!!!

Yeah, I think God would probably be the most reliable option. But, what if you had to choose one from the poll?

Woohooo, Emily! http://www.mothering.com/discussions...&postcount=399 That's a GREAT belly, woman!!! I was much bigger at 37 weeks than I am now if it's any consolation. It's like every couple days the babe drops a little lower.

we were at the hospital the other day and an old old native american woman said to my mother "she havin' a boy" in a thick accent as she walked by.

we don't know yet but i believe her more than anyone else.

so i voted for the take out lady.

She's clearly the winning horse at the moment! Apparently most of us (at this moment) trust the Thai lady more than our providers!

Yeah, what is it about those random strangers who seem to KNOW so much more than anyone else!?!?

Thanks

Oh, and a lady told me I was having twins, I said no I am not, she said then it is a boy, and I said no it isn't, then she said I was doomed and walked away Hahahaha....it's funny

Well, my providers thought my baby's feet was her back and they also think I'm going to have a 6 lb baby...the thai lady knows better!

Oh and now I want thai food.....I REALLY want thai food!
none, I can't even pick one. I walked around dilated past 4 and 80% effaced for over 2 wks before delivering by induction (med. necessary for other reasons). no one knows except the baby.

Definately the Thai lady...

My mother and MIL know 'Nothing' in my opinion... DH I believe is just praying it's soon...

Care providers just think they know

But some older wise other "culture" woman I would listen to in a heartbeat. Our American culture just doesn't connect with things like the body and pregnancy they way some others do.

I say my care provider. She's known me for a good long while now and has seen me through 3 pregnancies. I think that she's the most likely to see the 'look' in me.

Mmmmm, thai!! :

Well, the lady at our favourite Thai restaurant has been right guessing all 3...but sadly they retired since Nate was born so I don't have my baby oracle anymore! LOL.

Thai lady here too, out of those.

My midwife has said several times, "I have no idea when this baby is coming." That's where I am too.

Um, nobody?

After that, DH. And even then I would be skeptical.

Possibly the old man in Fred Meyer who told me that I would be having another baby back in the fall. At the time I was on the pill and DH was planning a vasectomy and I thought he was crazy. 2 weeks later he suddenly wasn't so crazy when I was looking at that 2nd line. So, maybe him.
