Maybe I am way behind the times, but I just saw the 20/20 piece on the Breastfeeding Ad that was never aired (on http://www.drjen4kids.com/ ) and am boiling

I don't as a rule watch 20/20 and didn't hear the commercials for this piece so I don't know when it aired. it does mention last Dec as a time frame for when the ad that was used came out ... totally watered down of course. I am in shock that 20/20 actually aired a segment on the pros of breastfeeding and the cons of not! That definitely came through so at least that is a good thing.
Apparently, this ad campaign was canceled when Tommy Thompson was at the administration. It seems as though lobbyists for the big formula companies were behind preventing the original commercial from airing and then for getting what was aired completely watered down. Not until those idiots have not breastfeeding hit home will they finally change tactics.... wait who am I kidding, their families probably DO BF !!
