My situation is a little weird -- but basically my child who still breastfeeds only does so from one breast... the other unused breast has yellowish colostrumy looking liquid, and not much, if I express. HTH

Good question. I was planning to post something similar. My ds weaned a couple weeks ago, but I still have some milk. It looks very creamy, a little like colostrum. I did not expect to still have milk so long after weaning. How long does it take for the milk to completely dry up?

So it might be normal then... I was thinking that it maybe had something to do with the possible need to relactate in case of illness or w/e.

I know you can still have milk for months, even years after nursing.

I did the same thing, and since I stopped nursing I have always wondered if I could start back up. I really miss it. Whats the longest someone has gone not breast feeding to starting back up? She still seems like she wants to too but shes 2 and a half so.....
