Okay. So, I spent EIGHT weeks on modified bedrest and TWO weeks on full bedrest due to having contractions and already being dilated to 2 cm and 70% effaced. Now that I am off bedrest completely since last Thursday.... BIG FAT NOTHING! : : : : So, I endured a very dirty house and two very bored kids for that long and now she wants to stay put??????? AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Sorry! Needed to get that out!

I would be frustrated too but just remember that you will have a beautiful healthy baby that will be worth every day of dirty floors very soon!

Oh Kerri! You poor thing! I know that this must suck! Hopefully your lo will be here soon soon soon!

I can sympathize. With my first I was on complete bedrest for 12 weeks and modified for 2 weeks and gave birth over a week late. It works out that way sometimes.

Kerri,
I totally hear you on being frustrated, and I'm right there with you in bedrest land, BUT. You're 36 weeks right now? Or 37? Because 36 is still officially too early, and 37 is just barely term. I know I am personally looking forward to getting to 36 this weekend, and I'm sick of my bed too, but let's keep it in perspective here. We still have a little time before getting totally cranky. At least that's how I am feeling. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as being not understanding..maybe I will feel like you next week...but with three premature births behind me, I am feeling pretty willing to suck it up and be miserable pregnant for a while longer. Hang in there, girlfriend

Oh I get you! I wasn't complaining that she isn't here yet, I was complaining that I spent all that time on bedrest and now that I'm OFF of it, nothing is going on! So did I spend all that time on bedrest for no reason???

Thanks ladies! I feel SO much better now that I got my gripe out! I'm still frustrated and I still REALLY want her to be here so that I can get over all the stress, but I can handle waiting a bit more... I think! Ha ha ha I just can't believe I spent all that time on bedrest for "seemingly" no reason! (Even though I know that she very well could have come wearly and the object was to make sure she didn't and get her mature enough, but you know what I'm saying, right? Sigh! Pregnancy... FULL OF FUN!!!

(And can you BELIEVE that I have actually had a couple of people asking me if we are having any more?? UMMMM.... CAN WE GET THIS ONE HERE FIRST BEFORE WE EVEN *THINK* ABOUT ANY MORE????

I know what you mean, Kerri. What you did was not for nothing. It just worked...that's all! I mean, I was having preterm labor signs at 27, 28, and 29 weeks, and I have really not had much since then. But I'm still lying around officially until Saturday, which seems like a really long time from now, and I feel basically fine...but I still have three days to go, and I'm just not taking my chances at this point. But when I get to 37 weeks....I'm going to african dance class! Hang in there, girl. We're going to have babies pretty soon!
