Hey Mama, I just wanted to know that I read your birth story and wanted to send you a big heartfelt . Your little baby is so beautiful. I am so sorry that your birth was so traumatic and I really hope some healing sets in soon since you are home now. Please just rest, eat and feed your baby. I really admire your strength.

Loobyloo-
I read your birth story too.
I'm so sorry you and your dd had to go through such a traumatic experience.
She is such a precious little girl!
You are a very strong woman.

I read your story too, and I think your daughter is adorable--you can already see so much personality and spunk in that little face. You were so strong to have gone through all you did in the birthing and afterwards, and I wish you and the babe a quick recovery and easier time from here on out.

What a crazy birth. Glad you're doing alright now and that she's back to nursing. When you get a chance, maybe post a birth announcement with date, stats, etc.
Congratulations on your baby girl!

Oh wow! I just read LoobyLoo's birth story myself. What an awful ordeal!
My second labor was similar (although not nearly as bad as your experience) in that it was pitocin-induced and the epidural never kicked in at all, leaving me in extreme pain that no one could save me from. I pulled at my IVs and was beyond rational from the pain, so I know what that's like. At one point I bit into my own arm from desperation, and that left bruises for about a month. However, I still got to birth vaginally and had no trouble whatsoever postpartum.
I'm so sorry that things went south for you, and that you had to be in a hospital for so long, and sharing your space with other new mothers who couldn't be supportive of your desire to breastfeed! That must have been incredibly tough and disheartening for you!
I admire your strength, and your will to breastfeed your baby! It sounds like you have worked really hard to overcome the obstacles you were dealt with.
And by the way, you baby is very beautiful! Good job, Mama!
May you have an easier recovery now that you're (hopefully) over the worst part of it.
