Maybe losing my homebirth... - Page 2

Visiting from December DDC -

My bp has been high as well, so my mw has me drinking lots of nettle tea and eating fresh, raw cucumbers, both of which she found to have bp-reducing properties. I've noticed a difference, but we've got a visit w/her tomorrow...so we'll see.

You're in my thoughts, momma.

Well, I had my appt today with my mw and good news! : I am not spilling protein. After hearing I wasn't spilling protein, my anxiety was relieved and my blood pressure is down. It's higher than it's been, but it's still safe. I have been so worked up over all of this that it made my bp way higher. I am still going to be watching it and continue to do everything I've been doing to keep it low and pray that it stays good.

I am barely dialated and 50% effaced at 40 weeks, so I don't know when this baby will decide to come, but as long as everything looks good, we're fine with waiting!

Thank you all for your comments and advice, I really appreciate it. I have been so down the past couple of days and hearing from all of you really helped me thru this! Thanks mamas!
