WOW! You have a beautiful family! I am in awe of YOU! I was a complete mess at your age. (I don't know whether I am much better now! )

You are such an inspiration! I am a LLL Leader, and I so seldom see a teen mom nursing. Making a video (especially one so great) is a wonderful way for young people to be inspired to do what you are doing.

Awesome job, Mama!

Thanks so much everyone for replying

Veleeta, good on you for being an LLL leader & helping mothers give their baby the normal/best food

I think one of the reasons I breastfed was because I was breastfed for five years and it is so special to me as I remember how great it is
I also hope to inspire others to breastfeed/breastfeed for longer.

rjruiz, I also get very happy when I see other young mother breastfeeding & doing other AP things. : for breastfeeding and natural/attachment parenting!

Thanks also for sharing your own experiences in breastfeeding. : your video, I didn't expect to get emotional, but of course I did.

Thanks for sharing! My 2.5 year old and I both enjoyed the video.

I think it is wonderful that you are trying to educate others. You are in a great position to educate your friends who will probably be parents in the future.

I saw where you put that you can't understand why most teenagers bottlefeed. I was one of them. My DH (which was at the time my boyfriend) told me that I had to breastfeed, but my mother said bottle feeding was just fine. I wish that I had a great deal of support back then and I would have breastfed my poor little Audrie for more than a few weeks. I feel so guilty.

When baby number 2 came along and I was 21, I didn't care what my mom had to say. haha! She even said to me that she hated breastfeeding and that she should be able to hold her and feed her a bottle of formula.

That video was beautiful!

I am sorry AutumNoelle hope I did not hurt your feeling's. But honestly, I blame society for failing mothers, mothers do not have enough support and education about breastfeeding. Not to mention all the normalizing of bottlefeeding and advertisements from formula companies.

I know it must be difficult but I truely believe the few weeks of breast milk that darling little Audrie had would have made a huge difference. She got colostrum and early milk, and that is wonderful.

I think you did execptionally well considering the circumstance's. I know it can be difficult being a teenage mother and you have my full sympathy.

I was more thinking about why some people do not even consider breastfeeding.

I think that is is sad your mother did not support you more. And how selfish of her to want to bottle feed so she can feed the baby, Our aim as parents & family should be to raise our children optimally, not to compromise them in any way.

I am proud of you for breastfeeding both of your children and not listening to your mother the 2nd time, what a pity she could not support you more.

just so you know, I went to watch the video, and it said it had been removed due to a copywrite claim by warner music group. I've noticed that a lot of vids have been removed lately due to that. I'm sure it was a wonderful video, and good for you for breastfeeding your son.

Hey couldn't see the vid, but I'm an young mom too, and I Just wanted to congratulate you on your nursing relationship! I was 16 when my son was born, and he just turned 3 and is still nursing a bit every couple days!:
