I'm starting to forget my birth! This was my favorite one too! I actually enjoyed it! The feelings are all fading!

Oh well..... Natures way of making sure we have more than one, Right?

I totally agree with this!!!

I left DH a spot on my blog, so that he could post his thoughts/feelings/recollections of the birth, since everyone sees it from a different perspective. He recalls things that I had no idea were going on ....

my birth STILL seems so surreal to me ....

I can so relate to this. This birth was so amazing for dh and I and it's so sad to feel it slipping away. I want to hang on w/ all my might.

I was thinking tonight how sad I'll be once everyone in our DDC has delivered and our forum gets archived. *sniff* I'll miss you gals...

HAM, you CAN'T have your baby!

Well, we can always find a new spot to all hang out! I still think we should all go on a "reunion" cruise in a year or two! Wouldn't that be awesome!

Me too. Although I remember thinking while I was in labor and even saying it that "this really does hurt". Somehow, I had remembered birth as blissful, even painless. And in my memory it is but I also remember that it f*cking hurts a lot even when you can move around and you know you can handle the pain.

I was holding Mateo tonight and looking at his heels, which I am pretty sure were poking me in my side for most of the latter half of pregnancy. At that moment I turned to dh and said "I almost forget what it felt like to have him inside of me!" and I burst into tears. It is soooo hard to not want to hold on to every last detail, especially because dh is adamant that there will be no more than two children. I can't believe that he will be 2 weeks tomorrow, he has already changed so much!!! Sigh...as hard as the newborn phase is, I don't want it to go by too fast.
