Update thread 07/09

Thread Starter
Well, I've been awake all night and having pretty constant, intense contractions for the past 2.5 hours. They are currently ranging from 4 to 5.5 minutes apart, lasting just over a minute. I haven't called a midwife yet because I don't trust that this will keep up. I also need to call my parents, but again, I don't want them to drive all the way into town for this to be a false alarm. Although someone needs to be here for DD in case we have to rush to the hospital. I have no idea what to do. I think I'll wait it out and hope that this is really it. Maybe the good cry I had before bed tonight about the c-section was what my body needed to get this little person out!

I'll keep you all posted, but hopefully you won't hear from me again until I have a great vbac story!

yeah!!!! I really hope this is it for you.

And if you have any left over when you're all done, hit me and HAM with some labor vibes.:

Dropping by from July DDC...

I just wanted to tell you ladies how increadible patient I think you all are. Even if you don't want to be every minute of every day, you still are an inspiration to a person like me to be patient.

Good luck today Halaroo, and I hope baby makes it's grand entrance shortly.

Christine & Maya ~ I wish you both ELV's that start up soon too!!!

Yay halaroo...it's funny that when we give in to what we don't want, suddenly what we want may well become attainable. I'm pretty close to that point myself right now, so perhaps it'll yield something good. ELV to you. Keep us posted!

As for myself, I spent the whole night tossing and turning uncomfortably, because of the excessive humidity. I stayed awake for a while listening to the rain, telling bellybean I wouldn't mind if she came right now, but apparently it wasn't to be. The consequences of staying awake like this are that I'm completely exhausted this morning, super emotional, feeling nauseated and burpy. No contrax just an all-aroung crummy feeling. Maybe today would be a bad day for labor to begin...

I trekked all the way to a specific pharmacy yesterday in order to get a stronger dosage of caulophyllum and on my way back, sitting on the sticky bus, I realized that the clerk had sold me the wrong dosage. :

Nothing seems like it's going right today; even DH is home sick again after having thrown up his breakfast during a mad coughing fit. I truly feel like there's a little cartoon cloud sitting above my head raining down badness on me. : I think I've reached the proverbial end of my rope today.

HAM, crashing in from the pregnant with #1 in our 30s thread. We're thinking of you and sending lots of ELVs. :

HAM...I'm still here with you. I was just trying to find something positive to say but couldn't think of one.

Okay here it is. Right now my baby is healthy. She's kicking around, she even had the hiccups today. Not all pregnancies end up with a healthy baby. And I am gifted this day to have a healthy full term baby, who is going to make her entrance soon.

This is me. I'm not overdue, I'm super pregnant woman! (or maybe I have pregnancy brain on overdrive)

Okay let's see if I can hold on to this positive energy all day.

Okay people should never ask a clearly very pregnant person, 'no baby yet?' I want to say 'yeah this is all baby weight'.

Okay vent over, but I'm not going to town anymore. And I'm screening my phone calls now.
