#1 water broke 12 hours before labor began.
#6 water broke a week before and slowly leaked over time (I did not know) and we had a dry birth.
#2, #3, #4, #5, & #7 it did not break until "late" in labor (with "late" being a relative term since I have an average length of labor being 4 hours). With #2 my water broke litterally seconds before she fully emerged into the world.
