Well, it was hard finding photobucket-friendly pics, so we'll see how long these stay up

Mikah arrived via unassisted homebirth at 4:20am, caught by daddy, and almost born in the caul (water unbroken). It burst just as he was crowning. I only said *one* bad word the whole labor (ofc this being baby number 2 I am saying LOTS of curse words with these afterpains... holy cow!!!) I DID scream though... I was by NO means graceful!

We haven't measured length, etc yet but he was 8lbs 4oz, and I didn't tear a bit, think I just got a slight skid mark.

Birth story to come. It ended up being on land... just wasn't "feeling it" in the water!

I had some bleeding issues at first but they have resolved themselves (lol... placenta... remember? And a steak. I made MIL go out and find me a steak at 8am ) and we're doing great now!

LOL I'm back! It's literally a quarter mile down the road, so I made it there fine... then I'm placing my order, and I'm like "Yeah, I'd like a number six, large sized with a coke and, uh..." deep breath "A junior" deep breath "cheeseburger" deep breath "deluxe" deep breath "and a small sprite that's all please" I was having a TOUGH time right there.

So I CAN still talk through them, but, uh, not exactly coherently. Still happy in between though.

And IRONICALLY ENOUGH, Spark, this is the first time EVER that they have gotten my order right 100%. And didn't charge for extra sweet & sour sauce.
