packaging homemade soap

just looking for some cool packaging ideas for homemade soap...all i have right now is little cellophane bags, which is hard to get the soap in...so what have you got for me??

how about wrapping it with homemade paper and raffia?
or
wrap it with brown paper bag that you've stamped or drawn on?
or
wrap it in some newspaper or magazine pages?
maybe you could make some stickers to use instead of tape.
i would probably put wax paper between the soap and whatever i wrapped it in, but thats just me.

enjoy your day!

parchment paper, butchers paper?

Butcher's Paper and raffia would be neat an earthy. Or even brown paper.

I like things simple

thanks...i was thinking something along those lines...what do you think of just waxed paper with raffia...would that look tacky? i like the brown paper idea...do they sell that for crafts? how does it come?

I think wax paper would let the soap "shine in it's simplicity". Put a hang tag with the name, etc. tied over the wax sleave.

I think plastic wrap with a pretty sticker to secure it on the underside works super because then you can see the beautiful soap through the packaging. It doesn't hold up very well though, if they're going to be handled a lot.

How about colored cellophane(plastic wrap) and stickers or raffia?? I think that would be pretty... plus around holiday time Reynolds has holiday decorated plastic wrap.
