So pleased.

I'm just so pleased with myself & I had to share!

I made 12 prefolds out of white flannel. I just pulled them out of their first wash & dry along with 9 I bought at a consignment shop (brand new!). The ones I bought are made out of some kind of gauzy material & the outer 3rds are quite thin - probably only 2 layers. But the ones I made are so nice & fluffy & thick! the 9 bought ones stack as high as only 6 of my homemade ones.

I can't wait to try them out!!!

What kind of flannel did you use? I'm so torn between buying and making some pfs right now... A lot of the flannel I've seen pills or stiffens after it's washed a lot. The first time I made pfs, I used really thich t-shirt fabric and it was too stiff to fold

Yours sound beautiful!

I just used cheap cotton flannel. I really debated organic but it is unavailable here so on top of the additional cost of the organic I would have to pay for international shipping. When it is SO cheap at the store it is pretty hard to justify.
