In order to cover my up-and-coming gray...and since henna and no-poo basically do NOT mix, I am wondering which of these options would be the healthiest for my health AND the planet:
* If I STOP no-pooing and start hennaing my hy hair. I suppose I would then starti spending money on expensive all-natural shampoos. Contributing more plastic to the planet. I tried no-pooing with Bronners -- and it makes my hair limp, btw. (I am STILL trying to find no-poo alternatives that DON'T strip (AKA -- w/out baking soda) -- so if you have any, please chime in)
* If I highlight my hair 3 times a year -- just peroxide -- no dyes and keep on no-pooing. (I won't care if it gets stripped by the no-poo/baking soda).
THoughts?
