Ugh! My RRL Tea!!

So last night before bed I make a quart of the stuff, set it on the counter for the normal three hours before I put it in the fridge to steep overnight. Well, I woke up at 330am - 7.5 hours later! - and realize I never put it in the fridge!! Is it still ok to drink??

Or did I leave it sit too long on the counter?

I would say it is fine. There is nothing in it that can spoil like milk or meat.

Oh yeah, it's a-ok! We make sun tea here all of the time where we leave tea is the sun for 5-9 hours...no worries.

I would say it's OK, I let mine steep all day sometimes!

ETA: I actually seen down at the bottom now, sorry! I didn't read very closely I guess! That refrigerator tea is ok. Thanks!

I let mine set all day and it is fine. I even drank mine today that I forgot about yesterday, and it tasted so great! I LOVE tea, and can taste it when it goes sour. A few hours, if it does not have sugar in it, usually does it no harm.

Oh, sure. I always leave mine out to steep overnight.

If it tastes great, go for it! I just can't stand sweet tea that's been out all day/night... ew, sour!
