I sure hope the finale is much shorter than "normal" for me!

I am hoping it will be so very soon, too.
As for positioning, I am sure Baby is head down, though he seems to rotate from left to right constantly. During one of my good laboring phases, he was perfectly positioned. I could feel the contractions well into the pelvis and working just right. I just KNEW "this is it!" BUT, I had to use the bathroom, so, I moved and then changed positions.
Well, my cx stopped for a while, I dozed off, and then when I woke up, I realized Baby had shifted into a complete posterior position with very strong kicks and punches straight to my bellybutton! I wanted to scream (I had never had Baby in that position, Baby has been very stationary the entire time up till now)!
After spending time rocking on my hands and knees, Baby moved again to a side position, but I have not been able to get the cxs to start up like that again. I just felt like if I had not moved, I would be holding my baby now.

I don't know. Maybe there is a cork inside that is keeping Baby from moving down? (Although I have totally lost my plug and am dialated and effaced.) So perhaps it is an invisable one!

I just can't imagine what could possibly be keeping Baby from engaging properly. Could not possibly be a "big baby", as I have had one and never had this problem (and this one is much smaller). Up till a few weeks ago Baby was breech, but turned. And a "short" cord should not keep Baby from engaging. So I am at a total loss. And very frustrated.
The only good thing this delay is getting me is that I am getting my house clean today and I actually got all my baby clothes sorted yesterday!

My other children were watching and could not believe that Baby would actually fit into them. It is so quickly that we forget how small babies are!
