Anyone else running out of clothes?

I am outgrowing all my maternity clothes! And I so do not want to go buy more, as I've bought so stinking many already. I gave away all the maternity clothes I had after dd2 because my SIL was pg, and we didn't know if we wanted to have more kids- certainly not in the next few years.

So I bought a bunch of medium, winter/spring clothes, and then had to buy large and xl summer clothes, and now even those don't freaking fit. My pants keep falling down because the belly is so huge and low, the tops don't come down far enough to keep my midsection covered.

Sorry for whining, but it is so frustrating to be waddling along anyhow, but then also be constantly adjusting the wardrobe. Is anyone else dealing with this?

I am down to one dress, one pair of pants and one shirt. They all get washed twice a week or more. At home, I have taken to wearing my husband's t-shirts and boxers (he's a large man), or nothing.

wow, great timing, I was just talking about this with dh over lunch.

I have 4 things that fit for summer: 2 tank tops and 2 skirts. But, my skirt is finally getting too snug - it's not a maternity skirt, just one that had enough stretch to fit around my belly. Now, the shirt I wear with it, isn't long enough to cover my whole belly, so if the skirt stop fitting, I'll be down to just one outfit! Luckily, I'm mostly okay with that.

I was taking dd shopping today and DH said I should buy something for me too, but who wants to buy something that I might only wear for a couple days?

I'm with you on this whole nothing fits thing! The outfits I put together to wear to work are sometimes ridiculous, but lucky for me my office is laid back and isn't going to give me crap for 'breaking' dress code when I'm 9 months pregnant. And if I'm not at work I'm in a speggheti strap dress or my husbands t-shirts, but even those are getting tight!

No way am I buying more maternity clothes at this point, and anyways shopping for maternity clothes has been some of the low points of this pregnancy for me!

I haven't even tried to fit into most of my maternity clothes since I stopped working at the end of May (and since it warmed up outside)- I know that some of them would probably fit tightly, but doubt they would be comfortable. I just keep wearing the same brown and black pairs of gauchos I got from Old Navy a while back with ribbed maternity tanks (I got a bunch on sale at Old Navy and Motherhood). I also have a black cotton maternity skirt (also from Old Navy) that I will wear with a black tank and dress up with fun jewelry for when I head into the city and need more of a "fashion" type look. I am so lame.

Oh, and I don't wear anything but flip flops now. Of course, I have always loved a good pair of thongs.

Here is me at 38 weeks in my staple outfit: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3107/...9edc6a4d_m.jpg

yep.
I'm down to 1 pair of pants that I can wear without pain or discomfort.
No shorts, no capris.
Just a thick pair of jeans.

Did I mention I live in Texas? South Texas?
And is #^%(#^%(^&%(@)#^%()^ hot to the millionth degree??

Also all my shirts show my belly or waist band. Maternity shirts my a55.

Add me to the group!

Hardly anything has fit me for several weeks now. I just keep packing things away as I wash them. I'm down to a handful of things that fit. These are all the same clothes (plus a few new) I wore with my first 2 to the very end. I've gained much less weight this time, but nothing fits! Guess it's the way I'm carrying this time. I refused to buy more just to wear for a few more weeks.

I find myself mooning over regular clothes now the way I did over maternity clothes 7 months ago.

I had to chuckle when I read this! I live in my ribbed tanks now. I love them! We're in hot, humid south GA, so my poor DH looks at me in the same shorts, ribbed tanks, flip flops, and hair up in a clippie day after day. I'm almost sick of looking at me!

I have a dress that fits, and that's about it. I'm almost tempted to buy new clothes, then the baby will probably come.

Yes, I am now hanging out of my XL tops and refuse to buy more clothing, and no pants fit my belly at all. I am down to wearing old dresses scrunched up like skirts letting my belly hang out.

Yeah I am down to a pair of shorts, a few pants - but it is freaking hot so those are virtually out - and only a couple shirts that come down low enough. I too hesitate to buy anymore being almost done and all! If I am just hanging out at home I just stay in my underwear! (And make sure people call before stopping by! LOL)

I'm living in ribbed tanks and yoga pants.

the shirt I wore today left about 6 inches of belly hanging out.

I have 2 pairs of maternity capris I've been wearing, that cinch under my belly and cut into me and leave welts. I also have a black stretchy skirt I wear for "best". haha. Around the house, I've been so hot, I wear just a t shirt and a nice pair of my enormous size 10 cotton big girl briefs from walmart. It's a good thing I live kind of in the woods...

2 shirts, 1 pair of shorts that I have already blown out the butt in twice and have repaired, 1 pair of pants, 3 pair of men's XL pajama shorts with a draw string that I wear with the various shirts that are too small. That's all. I refuse to spend more money on clothes I might wear for a week!

Maternity shirts don't cut it anymore!

Non-maternity stretch pants under the belly.
A dress as a "shirt" to actually cover the belly.

It's been so hot lately, though, I've been spending most of my time at home naked. With a sarong hanging on the coat rack if I need to answer the door...

one dress. that's it! if i had anything to wear on thebottom, i wouldn't care if my belly was hanging out of my maternity shirts, but i'm just not willing to test the theory that "no shirt, no shoes- no service" really means "pants optional"
