Once this DDC closes...

Is there any interest in moving to a yahoogroups? I'd be happy to set it up if anyone's interested. If you are interested, LMK if you'd prefer it to just be June moms from this DDC. One thought I had was to make it a May-June-July group so that it would include everyone from our DDC, regardless of the month their baby was born. We can open it up to the May/July DDC's here or to the general public or keep it completely closed to members in this DDC only.

LMK your thoughts! I'm already starting to miss people!

I think its a great idea. I wouldn't really care about wether its closed or public.

good idea, it doesn't matter to me if it's public or closed. I think it'd be nice to have it be May - June - July, so everyone who was originally in our group could be in it (although I think they know they're welcome either way!)

I guess the question is do we want a similar message board format such as the MDC forums or do we want e-mail format? Yahoogroups is e-mail based while this one seems to be message-board based. I'm open to either!

I'm down for whatever, but I'm with Kendra, I'd rather a message board set up.

I like the conforum setup... that would be my preference. That way, we could all keep in touch, w/o filling up inboxes w/ another yahoo group or getting buried and way behind if we go offline for a little while.

I don't want to lose any of the mamas on here... your support has meant too much to me over the last few months.

Generally, people migrate to the Life With A Babe forum after the DDC and title a thread for each month with the date of their DDC, like:

"June 2008 Mamas - It's July!"

I would love to start a thread, but as I am suspended for a little while I can't access the LWIAB forum at the moment.

Maybe one of you can start a July thread there for us? I'll see you all there in a couple weeks!

If we use a single thread in Life With Babe or whatever it is here on MDC I get lost in huge threads like that... so I'd prefer either a yahoo group or forum thingy (preference for that).

We could ask someone from May's DDC if we want any help setting it up I bet!

I just registered.

It gave me a funky password through e-mail and said I could change it when I log-in. But I can't seem to figure out how. And I know I'll never remember the one they gave me.

Did that happen to anyone else?

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how to be "BlueMoonBean" instead of "Real Name"... I think I'll have to log in separately from my admin acct to actually post. I don't want to be THAT google-able, KWIM?
