natural home care . . . gone industrial?

to make a long story short, i have an opportunity to strongly influence the purchasing decisions regarding cleaning products at work. it's a fairly dirty industrial setting with offices, bathrooms, tile floors and a kitchen/lunch room. whatever we use has to work really well, but imo, what we use now isn't doing the trick and it stinks (in a toxic make-me-choke way).

at home, i use vinegar or a diluted dish soap solution (with "green" dish soap of course) on most surfaces, and they work great. however, i'm not sure how they'll do in this setting, and i don't have experience with tile floors or stainless steel.

i would love to hear your thoughts & recommendations! :

Isn't Simple Green supposed to be environmentally friendly?

Sorry, I don't know much about industrial cleaning...

As much as I feel guilty suggesting this... what about the Clorox Green Works products?

We used Simple Green when I was in the Navy. I was very surprised to find out it was environmentally friendly. I can't stand the scent though...

Shaklee makes ar least some, maybe all, of their products in industrial size packaging. I've read that they are popular in schools. There are some Shaklee reps lurking on MDC, maybe they could tell you more. FWIW, I have been REALLY impressed with the effectiveness of their cleaners!

I was coming to suggest Simple Green (I also don't like the smell) or Shaklee. I haven't personally used Shaklee yet (my stuff is on order) but my aunt & uncle/cousin love it!

Orange oil works great at cutting dirt and grease and smells great too! It is a safe choice for the environment. It can be found in most health food stores. HTH
