I've been taken 1-2 1000mg geltabs by mouth a day for a few weeks. My cervix hasn't ripened much since I started taking them, but it's also good for dry itchy skin so it can't hurt.
I take 1500 mg vaginally a couple times a week. My last pregnancy I took it orally and never effaced or dilated at all. I am with this one so maybe it is actually working. It is also helping soften up my episiotomy scar. At 39 weeks I will start doing it every day.

I'm a FTM so I"m just curious. I don't get contractions when I take EPO orally or vaginally and the baby definately seems to have dropped (he was already really low).
Do you think EPO helps or at least doesn't hurt the process?
Maybe coincidental but the first night i tried it vaginally I woke up with prodromal labour all day (which kinda sucked it not going anywhere). So I might try again next week when my EDD is closer.
