:I feel like I finally found the key to my puzzle baby. He is so much happier and calmer on the medications. No more pain for him and the gas is moving like normal with the anti-spasmodic. Night times were still a hassle though.
So we tried something new last night. We didn't bed share. I laid him down to sleep in his crib on his tummy at 10:30 last night. I read somewhere yesterday that babes with reflux sometimes sleep better on their tummies (ds1 was a tummy sleeper too). He slept until 12:30. I got up to nurse and laid him back down at 1am. Repeat twice and he slept all night. It definately sucks having to get out of bed to nurse, but if thats what it takes for dp and him to get enough sleep, I will do it. I did with ds1 too.
So ds2 sleeps in his crib....so much for cosleeping. I had full intentions to do it this time round, but I guess you have to do what works for baby.
