Baby dropped and now it feels like falling out...

How long after the baby dropping does he/she typically come? Is there a norm or is it just kind of random like most other pregnancy things? There is constant pressure on my cervix and it feels like he's practically going to fall out!

well I hate to say that mine dropped a couple weeks ago, so I don't think it's necessarily a sign of anything happening soon. But at least that pressure should help your cervix along as well, or at least thats what I keep telling myself.

With the almost constant sharp cervix pains I've bee having, I'm thinking I'll be able to just skip labor and the baby will just slip on out any day now.

Yep...could be weeks still.

I've definitely felt an increase in pressure down there in the past day or so. I keep thinking his head or a hand is going to pop out. LOL

You've usually got a couple of weeks after you feel the baby descend and it stays there. Babies are tricky though and sometimes they will kind of go up and down a little. The drop will help you efface though. I could feel my baby drop this week and the low infrequent contractions have begun along with lower back pain and pain in the cervix. My midwives said it's all normal but not to get too excited.

Mine feels the same way. I do hope it is sooner rather than later, but it can be weeks!
