Miriam Fay is here!

Hi everyone-

Miriam Fay was born at 1:29am Thursday morning (the 10th). She's a little chunk and weighed 9lb 2oz and was almost 23 inches long. I have no idea where I hid that much baby!

I had a really short, intense, great homebirth (my first HB!). I had just replied to a thread on here that DTD never really started labor with DD#1 and only made me crampy and miserable for the night and that I refused to try it to induce again. Well, DH and I got impatient, DTD and Miriam Fay arrived 5 hours later! My MW almost didn't make it because I wouldn't let DH call her because I thought I was just feeling crappy from DTD . So our family keeps asking why I thought I wasn't really in labor and why I waited so long to call the MW....

I love that it worked for you, the DTD thing that is. I have friends that swear by it, and others (such as myself) that it's fun sometimes and others NOT so much.
