Natural Conditioners

Please share your favorite natural conditioner with me
I want to try adding in a conditioner to my no-poo routine, but want to stay away from the yucky stuff

I haven't quite made it to the no-poo thing yet, and part of it is because I LOVE my shampoo and conditioner. I've been using them for probably 10 yrs and while they may be on the more expensive side I don't splurge much on anything else sooooo...
My stylist even commented on how healthy my hair is. Healthier than anyone he's ever met!

I use diluted apple cider vinegar. One part vinegar, 10 parts water. I spray it on after I towel my hair, and it doesn't smell when it's dry. My hair is shiny, soft, and much easier to de-tangle.

Thanks!

I already am using BS and diluted ACV. I just want to try adding a conditioner in with the BS for a little more cleansing. I feel like I am getting buildup and had to resort to real shampoo once this week

Yeah...I went no-poo for a long while, and it just wasn't for me. I couldn't live with the funky phase being a nurse...I just looked disheveled. I wash with shampoo about once every week. So I guess I'm a part-poo'er! Anyhoo, as for the good conditioner...I don't know if you're talking about something you can buy in a bottle or a homemade concoction, but I have major for Oyin Handmade's Honey Hemp conditioner. I also really love their spray-in conditioner called Juices & Berries. They smell so good and work better than any commercial conditioner that I've ever used!

i could've pretty much written this post, except i'm not a nurse

Oyin rocks. I use the Greg Juice and the Honey Hemp conditioner and they are awesome conditioners and detanglers. the head-to-toe honey wash is a great natural shampoo too

if you're looking for an at-home solution, Jojoba oil or Coconut oil (and many other oils...) are great for conditioning treatments. leave them in for a few minutes, a few hours, a few days, depending on how deeply you want to condition, then wash it out. and/or you can leave a small amount in your hair as a detangler and leave-in after you no 'poo. i still do a deep condition with coconut oil about once a month and it makes my hair very very happy. i leave it on overnight, and sleep with my hair up and under a handkerchief so i don't leave oil stains on my pillow case.

Same here, except I mainly use Aubrey Organics J.A.Y. Shampoo and GPB Conditioner - fabulous products for hair and scalp! I would never switch to no-pooing. The AO products and so gentle and good for my hair there's no reason to, plus my face breaks out if I don't wash my hair often enough.

Aubrey Organics also makes Egyptian Henna Shampoo and Rinse which I use for special occasions. It makes my hair even more thick and shiny.
