I have mainly only read negative things about Sheer Cover.
Try
www.everydayminerals.com instead. Much cheaper and no nasty chemicals.
Click on "makeup" then "custom kits" and scroll down to try their free sample makeup kit. You only pay shipping which should be around $4 US. You get 5 little sample jars of makeup to try - 3 foundations, 1 concealer and 1 blush. The sample jars should last you several weeks or longer.
I recommend also buying their flat top brush which is fabulous. That way you can better tell how the foundation works for you.
The foundations come in 4 different formulas:
Matte - for oily skin, gives a beautiful matte finish that is very nice and not flat or powdery.
Intensive - for the most coverage. Some people love it, but some think it can look a bit cakey. Some mix it with matte or original glo.
Original Glo - a lot of people love this formula. It gives more of a glow to your skin and is better for dry skin since wearing it with oily skin can make you look shiny quicker.
Semi-Matte - most of the reviews of this formula say that it doesn't do much and is only good if you have perfect skin already.
The foundations are categorized by undertone color. You can get helpful advice by posting in the forum if you don't know what category you fall under. You can also order as many free sample kits as you like - just one per order.
You can read a bunch of reviews for the various products here:

I hope this helps.
