Hi this is HalfAsianMomma's DH. She's still in the hospital waiting to hear when she'll be "released", but she asked me to post the following.
Also, I'll check the board tomorow AM and pass along any messages to her.

"After 20 long hours of unmedicated labor HalfAsianMomma gave birth to a healthy 6 lbs 16 oz little girl covered with black hair, peeling skin, and asian eyes with green gipsy coloured irises on July 12th at 2:50 AM"

In my own words... She was a trooper, and I've never been so proud of somebody. The doctor even told me that despite her shift ending at 11PM she would out of respect for HalfAsianMomma's effort towards a fully natural birth against odds she would see it through to the end with her. The doctor and her entire team stayed untill 4 AM.

OMG! I am so happy! I've been waiting for Maya's happy ending with almost more anxiety than I did my own!

wooo hoo! Yours must have been the most anticipated birth on this forum! I am glad that through it all you got your birth. Can't wait to hear the birth story and see some pics!
