SMALL project ideas?

I hae a small amount of yarn left from my Forest Canopy Shawl. I absolutely love this yarn, Mountain Colors Weaver's Quarters in Gold Rush. It's vibrant and beautiful and I love it.

I have no idea how much is left. I balled it, and the ball has a 3-4inch diameter. It's a DK weight wool.

I thought of doing an amulet bag or something similar, but I wouldn't use one. There's probably not enough to make socks for myself and I'm not willing to make hand-wash only socks for my girls.

Any other suggestions?

Something like dream swatch if you have enough yarn or a smaller headband if you don't have enough?
