Oh, Emily! I'm so so so sorry!!!!

Hopefully a relative or friend can lend you a laptop so you can at least keep in touch & surf!

You have my sincerest condolences. I'm still grieving my lost birth experience, though I'm obviously very glad to have Quinn (and home too!) I know exactly how you feel leaving your LO at home. I cried so hard the first time my kids came to visit and DS1 said "come on, Mommy, let's go home." : But you will soon have your whole family back together again, and it will be all the sweeter for the absence. I will pray for your safe and easy delivery, and hope that blood thinners aren't a problem for giving birth.

Thank you all for your support!! I will try to check in when Dh brings the laptop at night. Luckily my mom brought a bunch of organic cotton yarn for me to play with to fill my time! I am so excited to crochet while I am here. I just need to keep my thoughts off of not being home and I should be fine.

Crochet is fun! I only do amigurumi, though, cause I'm all about instant gratification and they don't take long

You can find all kinds of free amigurumi patterns out there for CUTE stuff.

What type of things do you crochet?

Oh Emily, I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this, but I'm on board with everyone else. Thank goodness you found the clot now. I'll be thinking of you!

I am back home! All 6 of the docs working with me agreed it would be much safer to have me off of the blood thinners this close to birth, and that the 3 days on the strong thinners probably helped enough to keep me safe. I have to go in for leg ultrasounds every other day and NST ultrasounds at the same time, so Olive and I will get very aquainted in the next few weeks.

I will more than likely be induced next week, hopefully closer to my due date (I am hoping the 24th) because they need to do a bunch more testes that are safer to do when baby is out.

On the plus side I crocheted a whole baby blanket....now my arthritis is flaring up but I feel accomplished!

This is WONDERFUL news Emily!!!!!! I'm so glad you're home, and even that you get to get more 'aquainted' with Olive over the next week. I'm sorry about the upcoming induction, but it won't be too bad, I'm sure of it. I'm am so very glad that the clots are looking better, AND that you made a blanket mama!!!

OMG. I hate that you aren't going to get the birth you want, but at least they were able to catch the situation before it got worse. I'm just glad you're ok and so it the babe.

This is wonderful! I am so glad you are home. And even though your "perfect birth" is not going to happen, at least you have time to prepare for things, and you know it is what has to happen for safety reasons. Makes all the difference, I think.

Keep us updated!
