My baby is here!

Brief statistics:
- Born at home Saturday, July 12 at 9:46am after 6.5 hours of labor (5.5 hours of fairly manageable contractions, thanks to Hypnobabies, plus 1 hour of posterior transition/pushing - ouch)!
- Delivered on hands and knees. DH was coming back from a wedding and missed the birth, so my mother caught him! No crying and happy Apgars (9/9).
- 11 lbs 5oz and 22 inches long! (I'm fine. )
- Lots of dark hair (probably transient) and squinched up nose (me); all other features take after DH!
- He is nursing great!
- Name is forthcoming...

I'll post a more detailed birth story and pictures later.

Congratulations! When I read that your DH was going out of town on the daily I thought "I really think her baby is going to be born soon!" I'm sorry he missed the birth but I'm so happy for your new LO!
