I made my monthly trip to walmart... around here there are things I can ONLY find there. Any way we needed some new sippy cups ( superhero ones with the hard plastic straws) Nathan is 4 1/2 and is very excited about all things associated with the coming of his baby brother. He's quite a chatter box and tells every one his brother will be eating boobie milk that his mommy will make her her big girl boobies. We are rolling down the isle and a mom had a tiny baby with a avent bottle propped up with a blanket Nathan leans over and asks ... is that a boy baby or a girl baby... she says a boy to which he promply asks if that is boobie milk he is drinking she says no... Nathan says WELL our baby is going to eat boobie milk cause my mommy has BIG girl boobies ( mommy is currently a 38DD ) The lady responded with thats nice.

He doesnt remember nursing ( or at least I dont think he does) I cant wait to explain the breast pump since he recently visited my BIL's grandfathers dairy farm

When I was pregnant with Mackenzie I was grocery shopping with a friend's son (6 yo) and as we went down the baby food aisle he says loudly "That's what the baby eats when it's done suckin on your boobies!"

Oy vey.

So cool that your kid can be the daring lactivist and say the stuff you (I'd) want said but wouldn't have the courage/gall/ovaries!

that is so cute. i love it when they say that stuff. my DSDs werent really breastfed but have been living with us since DD was 6 wks old. they jumped right on it. they were feeding their dolls and talking about it. they were making their dad embarrassed so they had to say nurse instead of "milk from your boobies" they always said it very loudly. they laughed hysterically when DD would pop off and it would squirt. they told me they want to grow up to be a mom who makes milk for her babies. : i love influencing the next generation.
